If you have someone in your home who loves the big purple dinosaur, Barney then this party submitted by Lizelle de Kock of Organizit (South Africa) is something you don’t want to miss!
Barney & Friends ABC Birthday Party
With his lessons taught in song and silly laughter, Barney is a dinosaur that many kids fall in love with. This party is tastefully executed and full of great inspiration! Check it out!
My favorite elements from this fun joint twin birthday bash include:
- Place mats painted with chalkboard paint
- Wooden spoons dipped in chalkboard paint
- Crayon cookie favors
- Giant block letter favor tables
- Fabulous Barney & Friends learning-inspired cake
- Crayon drink wrappers
- Block letter name sign centerpieces
- and MORE!
This is what Libelle said about planning/styling the party- “When our client Karlien said she wanted a Barney and Friends party, I immediately knew I wanted to do something different. I decided to make the focus of the party “learn & play your ABC”, as featured on so many of the episodes. This gave me a lot of room to work with different colours and elements. You will notice in the photos below that each child had a place mat painted with blackboard paint. This ensured a great activity as they waited for the rest of the group. The wooden spoons were dipped in blackboard paint so each could write their name or initials. This way they could play and come back for some more cake later. What a great party it was! We all had so much fun”!

Hi Pina! This isn’t a Kara’s Party Ideas party, so your best bet is to reach out directly to the party stylist. Her name and link are in the first paragraph of the party post. XOXO!
