Mickey Mouse DIY Birthday Party Details:
This is what Kimberly said about planning the party- “This is my son’s Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 1st Birthday! It was 100% DIY. I knew I wanted to do a Mickey themed party but I didn’t love the traditional “black, red, yellow” theme. I’ve always wanted to do a “sprinkle” themed party so we used Mickey & Friends to incorporate all of the colors! All of the crafts were done on my living room floor during nap time! My mom and I made the centerpieces using foam, dowels, clay pots, rocks (for weight), yarn to wrap the foam, and yellow gift packaging as filler. I cut the “1”, added a Mickey and assorted ribbon for a tassel! It was so fun finding all of the assorted ribbons online. I wanted more of the vintage look for ribbon and found a bunch of fun textures/colors! For the “CORBIN” character letters we bought the plain crafting letters from Hobby Lobby, used craft paints and cut the accessories from tick card stock craft paper and painted them as well! It was such a simple sweet day celebrating out little Mouseketeer turning ONE!”
