“My Little Cinnabun” Baby Shower Details:
This is what Brooke said about designing/styling the party- “When the Mommy-To-Be craves cinnamon rolls during her whole pregnancy – what better way to celebrate her bun in the oven than throwing a shower themed ‘My Little Cinnabun’!!
This evening baby shower was designed with a woodsy rustic glam vibe by The bash! Boutique, a unique new venue in San Diego. Leather sofas, layered rugs and wine barrels were brought in to create the cozy atmosphere in a color palette that spoke to delicious desserts – chocolate brown, golden caramel, creamy vanilla, and of course cinnamon. Even the guests looked fabulous and dressed in theme colors!
The gorgeous oversized farm table with wood stumps, sequin runner, paper whites and cloches with twinkle lights set the stage. Adding to the rustic vibe was vintage stoneware, brass silverware and raw cotton napkins place settings. Guests enjoyed delicious comfort food including roasted tomato soup shots, winter quinoa salad, pulled pork sliders and a risotto bar. There were desserts galore with a gourmet S’mores bar, Cinnamon Roll Pops and a multi-tiered Cinnamon Roll cake to accompany a full Hot Cocoa Bar!
Celebrating this Momma was such a special evening of love and sharing. The ladies enjoyed making winter crowns of branches, feathers, flowers and small adornments as a special favor to take home. For the first time, they learned baby’s name in a themed quote that was hand-lettered on the oversized chalkboard wall. All the guests also contributed to an artwork piece for the baby’s nursery by adding words of love to a scrabble board building off the baby’s name.
My Little Cinnabun was truly a shower loaded with sweetness!”
Celebrating baby is the most fun of all!!
