Woodland Animal + Lumberjack Baby Shower Details:
This is what Krista shared about the party- “The theme of the baby shower was woodland animals with a mix of the ever-so-popular lumberjack buffalo plaid. Can’t get enough of that buffalo plaid this season!
-Homemade “Moose Munch” used as favours for the guests with custom bag toppers reading “Thanks for popping by.” Paired with a mini bottle of Coke with paper straw tried on using rustic twine. Packaged together in a kraft paper bag; adorable!
-The clothesline of adorable “lumberjack” baby clothes. Especially love the moose onesie, and light-up marquee letters used for “Bundle of Joy” dispay.
-My mother’s homemade butter tarts. They are delicious and fit the rustic look perfectly (especially when displayed on the beautiful wood slab found at Home Sense)
We had a finger food table set up which included acorn cookies, butter tarts, brownies, timbits (donut holes), a hedge hog cheese ball, a variety of finger sandwiches, cheese & crackers, pinwheels, veggies & dip, and fruit & dip.
To drink, our guests could choose from homemade punch displayed in a large mason jar drink dispenser, or water bottles decorated in printable bottle wrappers.
The DIY projects included the paper “Sweet Baby” bunting, tissue paper poms poms, folding food labels, round food toppers, water bottle wrappers, custom treat bag toppers and thank you tags. The parting gift bags included a small bottle of Coke and homemade Moose Munch (caramel corn mixed with a variety of nuts and drizzled in chocolate) with gift tags reading, “Thanks for popping by”.
