Dinosaur 5th Birthday Party Details
This is what Erin said about styling/planning for the party- “This was a big birthday for my son – turning the big 5!!! My son has been fascinated by dinosaurs for awhile so when we starting talking about his birthday party it was obvious what theme we were going to go with – DINOSAURS!!!
My Mom and I always work together planning parties so we got to work. We choose to throw his party at our subdivisions lodge which is a beautiful large log cabin on a lake – it was the perfect rustic backdrop for our prehistoric party! We wanted Max’s friends to feel like they were walking back in time so we created things like paper vines and that we hung from log rafters and used lots of natural materials like burlap and moss and even created a paper mache volcano that was our centerpiece! We also wanted to add a little pop of color because his is only 5 so we chose blue, lime green and orange!
We made sure to incorporate the themed into all of our games and food. The kids knocked palm trees over with hand made dino tails, feed the T-Rex steaks, went on a dino dig and much more! The food included things like erupting brownies, fossil cookies, stegosaurus spikes.
The day was perfect and best of all – my little dino had the time of his life celebrating!”
This is a delightful boy-approved party. Check out some more parties here:
