Glam Frozen Themed Birthday Party
This is what Andria shared about the party- “When we asked Hazel what she wanted to do for her 3rd birthday, there was no way we were escaping a princess themed party, and better yet, a Frozen one. She had recently watched the movie and was instantly in love with all things Frozen. Her list of requirements included a pink cake, party hats, lots of balloons and of course a visit from the Queen herself.
As an huge believer in DIY I instantly set to work on creating the perfect princess party for her. The best part was spending time with Hazel creating together. We had so much fun preparing for the party to gather, cutting out snowflakes to affix to our straws and cups and create a snowflake confetti for the table. We designed and decorated party crowns and tiaras for all our guests, in shades of blues and pinks. A Frozen themed Let it Go banner for above the desserts, accompanied by snowflakes for the wall and snowflake picks for our marshmallows.
One of the best things we made was our Olaf station. We played on the “Do you want to build a snowman” line from the movie and put together a small craft for the kids. They were able to pick a bag of Olaf parts, a popsicle stick and build and decorate their very own Olaf.
The party was held at our local shopping centre, High Street, They have an amazing community room there that you can book out. Its mostly encompassed by glass windows, which add the perfect feel to our ice castle themed party.
As soon as we knew Hazel wanted a Frozen themed princess party, there was no hesitation in having Elsa join us for our party. We booked with My Little Birthday Princess and with out any doubt, it was one of the best decisions weve ever made. The look of sheer joy and delight on her face the entire time Elsa was with us was absolutely priceless.
For snacks we severed layered marshmallows covered in shimmer dust from Marsh & Mallow. Home made sugar cookies, our princesses favorite beverage, pink lemonade and a delicious vanilla cake from Pink Ribbon Bakery.
Our goodie bags were created with white paper kraft bags. We drew Olafs and Elsas on our bags, along with our guests names. The were stuffed with Frozen goodies, such as bubbles, tattoos, stickers and homemade sugar cookies decorated by Hazel. The girls all went home with a little extra treat, a Frozen themed bracelet from Rachel Rainbow.
The kids tables and chairs were rented from our local party store, Turkey’s. They recently brought in the cute little white chairs and they couldnt have fit in better with our party! We also purchased a handful of the balloons there, including the #3.
We had an absolutely wonderful afternoon celebrating our little girls third birthday. I am sure this is the first of many princess parties in our future!”
