Are you ready for sunshine and summertime?! Whether you’re looking for fun décor, bright blooms, or cute party supplies, Michaels has everything you need to MAKE summer fun! I love their new ice cream party supplies, and decided to use some of these cute + tasty items to create a super fun cotton candy freak shake!
Freak shakes are so popular and equally fun to make! Your imagination can literally go wild and as far as these party elements go, the bigger and more over-the-top, the better! Even more importantly, all you need are a few basic supplies in your pantry (and freezer) and you can make a freak shake any old time you’d like!
Cotton Candy Freak Shake
For my shake I picked up the following supplies, available at Michaels right now:
- Turquoise plastic ice cream parlor tumblers
- Pink ice cream coating
- Marshmallow twist treats
- Lollipops
- Snowcone lollipop
- Paper straws
- Fabulous sprinkles
Continue on and see the directions and photos of me making my cotton candy freak shake!
Start by gathering the supplies.
The Choco Maker Ice Cream Coating is such a fabulous supply. I used mine to drip fabulously down the glass, but you can coat ice cream bowls, decorate spoons, and much more!
To use the ice cream coating, simply follow the directions on the packaging and melt in the microwave…
Drip the ice cream coating down the side of your glass…add sprinkles. The messier the better here!
Fill your glass with your favorite milkshake. I chose a simple vanilla ice cream blended with a bit of milk.
Top off your shake with desired treats and toppings. Now is the time to go big or go home! I used macarons, lollipops, sprinkles, cotton candy, and more sprinkles.
