Jungle Safari Birthday Party
Jungle Safari Birthday Party Details:
This is what Sapnah shared about styling the party- “My client wanted a jungle theme for her son’s 1st birthday party. She said, “It should look like a jungle” and I went wild with ideas :D. I wanted to create a 3 dimensional look and feel. Collected/made animals of various materials. Details below:
Started out with fabric, beaded curtains and various elements which could be hung. Implemented monkey’s corner. Uplift lights gave a dramatic look and feel.
Placed plush animals strategically – Baby and Mommy elephant to represent the host family. Ferocious white tiger waiting for an opportunity to hunt, while the deer is alert and lookout for the tiger! The balloon columns were placed on a pedestal wrapped with green tulle fabric and jute vine of felt leaves. Trees in the backdrop were made of tissue paper leaves and pool tubes as trunks. Covered the stage with palm leaves print plastic tablecloth bought at local party store.
Love the tissue paper green grass! Placed fake yellow tulips. We placed wooden rectangular slabs on cake stands to use as cupcake stands. Placed the golden rhino and lion as centerpieces for the cupcake stands. Placed a monkey below the cupcake stand eyeing the cupcakes – ready to eat them all but scared of the lion! Giraffe mommy and baby pair relaxing and celebrating! ‘Happy Birthday’ banner made of safari print paper.
Two plush wild animals offering candies to the kids. Wooden crate served as a stand for the guest of honor’s photo. Inside the crate placed a bird’s nest and some hay. Zebra print table runner, wooden safari sign, jungle backdrop completed the look!
Zebra print table runner, center wooden slab with pieces of wood and palm leaves.”
