Modern Race Car Party Details:

Tania’s party description- “Welcome Race Fans! The race car obsession is real in my home filled with little boys! Our youngest has at least one in his hand at any given moment of the day (or night). Plus, at least several more tucked into his pockets for later. I have learned so much from my older sons as well in regards to racing stats and car names. Needless to say this party theme was in my thoughts for quite some time!

DESSERT TABLE:

Sweets at a party are a must and the birthday cake needs a special place so the dessert table is the focus of the party decor. I wanted a clean and simple design so much of the decor is white with just the pops of color coming in with the sweets and paper printables. The cake was placed high and proud on the winners podium with the other themed sweets set around it, including gear shift cake pops, spare tire Oreos, racer cookies and cupcakes.

The second sweet area for the party was at the Motor Speedway Concession! Here you could find more cookies, gas pump juice boxes, antifreeze punch and popcorn! The workshop trolley invited guests to fuel up on the various liquids available. I created the checkered backdrop to the concession by taping 8×8″ card stock papers in pattern on the wall.
