Mickey Mouse & Friends Ice Cream Party Details:

This is what Bethany shared about the party- “We’ve got ears, say cheers to 3 years! When my youngest turned 3, we celebrated his birthday with a Mickey & Friends ice cream party.

Planning:

To start my planning, I chose the color palette and created a vision board to help keep me on track throughout the planning process. I knew that I didn’t want to go with the traditional Mickey Mouse color scheme, so I focused on some of the colors in my son’s favorite characters: Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Duck. I pulled out a royal blue, green, yellow, and orange, and then I picked a blue and white stripe pattern to ground it all and add a modern feel to a classic theme.

Desserts:

To display our desserts, I used a blue beverage cart and loaded it up with sugary treats to thrill any little one’s heart. The cake is always my favorite part of any party, and this double barrel drip cake, with its hidden Mickey sprinkles, did not disappoint. The ice cream cone cupcaces, the cake pop bouquet, the Disney character ice cream cone cookies, and the sprinkle dipped waffle cones thrilled our little birthday boy & party guests alike.

Stand-out elements:

There were so many fun elements of this party including the cake topper, custom birthday shirt, banners, marquee light up number, & more. If the party was any indication, three is going to be our sweet boy’s most magical year yet”!
