Shimmering Mermaid Birthday Party
Alisha’s party snippet- “My daughter, Zoe, wanted a mermaid themed party for her 4th birthday. This turned out to be such a fun theme and it was very easy to style since there was a lot of beach-themed merchandise in stores in preparation for the summer.
I chose to go with a pastel color palette for the theme, sticking to mint, pink, and lavender for the most part.
For the main table, I used a mint, sequined tablecloth and the backdrop was simply a sequined cut of fabric I purchased at our local fabric store. I made the balloon garland by threading the balloon ends onto a fishing line and added artificial plants as a finishing touch.
Most of the decor was purchased from Hobby Lobby and Michaels.
This was a super fun party to plan for my daughter and she had an amazing time, despite the rain. We even had a special visit from the mermaid princess herself and luckily the rain stopped just in time for the kids to enjoy a few minutes in the princess carriage bounce house.”
