Southwestern Cactus Baby Shower Details:

Katelyn’s party snippet- “When my sister told me she was having a boy, I was excited to get to planning! I wanted her shower to be simple, clean and southwestern! Additionally, I found inspiration in the copper vases. I knew I didn’t want any flowers, so we went with cactus. Masculine, yet full of color, texture and character. With the venue having white walls, I wanted to maximize the clean look by using a light ivory linen and white chairs.

Using the light colors really allowed my centerpieces to pop. Each guest’s seat was accented with a metal cactus cut out with their name on it. The cake and cookies were a huge hit! The cake was a heavy chocolate ganache that was truly delightful! Oh my, the cake topper was to die for, and the watercolor cactus really accented the naked cake. The sugar cookies were also a hit and didn’t last long! We had a great time!”
