Pastel Carnival Birthday Party

Alicia’s party description- “Why did you choose the theme?

My idea for Harlow’s 2nd Birthday came from a print I had in the kids playroom of a Cotton Candy Cart by Mrs Mighetto. From there I contacted @4kidsnmore and together we designed food stands and a candy cart, I then hand painted them to suit the theme and colours.

The food stands and cart are kid size, it was so hard to find these as all the ones I had seen were adult size, this made the party all about the kids and they role played like they were working at a carnival.

I knew it was a theme I could have fun with and that the kids would love it with all the games and food stands. Harlow loves horses and elephants too so it was the perfect theme for her.

How you decorated and styled the event?

I used soft pinks and blues, greys and rose gold. Also, I used lots of balloons from @rubyrabbitparty and I made balloon garlands using a balloon air compressor, it was really quick and easy to do and looked amazing in the space. I made all the game stands myself, so they looked stylish but were still fun for the kids.

Party Favours

For party favours I hand painted and decorated $5 plastic elephants and horses from Kmart and Target for each of the kids. I also had @smallprintdesign design rose gold carnival bags with each of the kids names on the back. I filled the bags with play dough from @doughmydearplaydough rolling pins, play dough cutters and bubbles.”
