Pretty in Pink Glam Baby Shower

Anika Kai Events party description-

When we first met with our client they didn’t know the sex of their baby so we discussed color and design options for both. We were able to find out the gender before anyone else to help in planning! We had so much fun taking our clients classically glam style and infusing it into every facet of their shower. They had their hearts set on a summertime backyard soiree.

We wanted to create an environment that their guests would feel like they stepped into a dreamy location. To start, we draped king’s tables with soft textured pink linen and coordinating napkins. We adorned each place setting with china and gold silverware. Also, a custom bottle of Belvoir ‘s Elderflower and Rose Lemonade, a favor box filled with Garrett’s popcorn and a stem of pink flowers. The deconstructed sweets table, framed by an “Oh Baby” backdrop was the highlight of the party. It was picture perfect.

Ambiance

Upon arrival, guests were greeted with lemonade while a flutist played soft jazz. As they dropped their gifts, they filled out an uber cute advice card and dropped it into the baby’s first jewelry box. Between noshing on Salmon, grilled veggies, and new potatoes, guests played a cute game called “pass the parcel” where whoever the parcel landed on when the music stopped had to do one of the outlandish suggestions on the card. They also played “Let’s make a baby with play dough” and the mom to be had to pick the winner. We rounded out the day out by opening the gifts and celebrating their new baby girl.
