Winter Plaid Indoor Camping Party Details:

Krista’s party snippet-

“While searching for party inspiration for my son’s 2nd birthday, I came across a photo of an indoor camping party. Being his birthday is the end of November, I thought that would be such a fun idea! I mixed that concept in with an adventure theme and modernized the design using black & white and buffalo plaid.

Decor:

For the camping element, I set up a teepee tent in our living room with a few alpine trees, added an adorable campfire play set, and hung some twinkling fairy lights from the ceiling for a starry night sky come night time. Everyone enjoyed being in the tent; even the teenagers!

Food:

For food, I set up a trail mix bar with various snack items so the kids could create their own mix. This was a big hit, especially with the older kids. For dinner I set up a buffet with 2 different soups, chili, and hot dogs so guests could make chili dogs. I also included a variety of toppings, crackers for the soup, and a garden salad. For dessert we had cake with ice cream and I set up an indoor s’more station with gram crackers, marshmallows, and a few chocolate options. Being it was much too cold to make them outdoors, I purchased some food grade fuel cans which we used to toast the marshmallows. It worked great and fun was had by all!”
