Tutti Frutti Color Pop Party Details:
This is what Kristin shared about styling the event- “These images are from some very special ColorPop Party themed children mini sessions where a portion of the shoot proceeds went to an amazing Hampton Roads, VA women’s charity, Begin Again Foundation.
I styled and created the décor for these photo shoots. I wanted something more than just the standard mini session backdrops you normally see. So, I created a party themed photo set complete with balloon arch backdrop and a dessert table that has a citrus/fruit theme and uses the main colors of, green, yellow and orange.
A beautiful handmade and dyed paper garland backdrop by Katherine Hallberg Design was also created and served as the backdrop for the dessert table with a fun ombre theme that coordinated with the citrus cake.
The children who signed up for these mini shoots got to interact with all the décor as if they were at a real birthday party or event! They could eat the desserts, play with all the balloons, and use the props provided. This included some very fun squishy fruit toys. It made for some unique and super fun photos for all the families involved. The kids were all so happy!
About Begin Again Foundation
The Begin Again Foundation works to bring life’s most pressing needs to families experiencing medical and life crises. Inspired by Audrey Leishman’s near-death experience in April 2015, the Begin Again Foundation was born out of a fiery passion for helping others. This is the beauty of the celebration.
One of Audrey’s greatest passions is feminine hygiene education as it relates to menstrual health. Hundreds of women experiencing homelessness are sheltered at any given time in Virginia Beach. These women are often faced with the choice between finding their next meal or using unsafe, toxic resources during their period. That’s why we’ve partnered with local homeless shelters and deliver monthly shipments of “Audrey-approved” safe, organic pads, new underwear and feminine wipes in an effort to protect local women against Toxic Shock Syndrome.”
