Wonder Woman Inspired 1st Birthday Party
This is what Morgan said about styling the party:
“The guest of honor, Madden, was a real-life pint-sized superhero in pastel pink. When we began brainstorming ideas for this little girl’s first birthday party, we wanted the perfect celebration for her and her family. Especially after hearing about her tough medical year. Of course, Madden was the epitome of a true Wonder Woman and it was even more perfect that her monogram, MW, almost resembles WW.
Taking into account our client’s personal style, we didn’t want to use the traditional colors of Wonder Woman. No offense WW, but here at Lemon & Lime Events, we like to offer our own twist (pun fully intended). So, the birthday girl’s parents, who are also real-life superheroes, inspired our color palette with their passion for preppy colors and pastels.
Invitation, Venue, & Tablescape:
Emily Baird Design created the most charming invite as well as the artwork we used throughout the event. Since the guests were both adults and children of varying ages, we needed to find a venue and activities that had real super powers. That’s when Poulet Coop came flying in to save the day! Then, we chose some of the most powerful paper products from one of our favorite partyware vendors, Meri Meri. Finally, we provided the most delicious food from Rouge Catering.
Activities & Decor:
We loved watching the kids run around in their decorated Amazon capes and masks, plus their glitter tattoos from Star Valle! The acrylic table and high chair from Just Kids Party Rentals helped create the perfect backdrop for when it was time to sing happy birthday. Plus, we had the most beautiful skyscraper cake designed by Jason Hisley of CAKE. The honeycomb garland from Oh Happy Day was also a nice vibrant touch to our backdrop for this one-derful superhero celebration.
Just look at that sweet little face with her own super monogram and little crown – she is one Wonder Woman.”
