No Llama Drama Birthday Party
This is what Gretchen shared about the party:
“Everyone I know is obsessed with the llama theme – who wouldn’t be! It was an absolute pleasure to plan this themed party to celebrate a very special girl’s 9th birthday.
This party was set up at the client’s home in the picturesque suburb of Glen Lorne, Harare, Zimbabwe. There were 12 extremely excitable children on the guest list. It sure was a lot of fun conceptualizing and creating for the No Llama Drama party theme. And working with such amazing industry vendors made bringing the vision to life as easy as 1,2,3!
The on-point birthday cake was designed by Sam Archer, whose attention to detail is always top notch! The detailed cupcakes were designed and baked by a new vendor, Jasmine Kassim, who I’ll definitely be using more in the future. Similarly, the llama themed cookies had to be one of my favorites. They were iced by the unbelievable talent of Pauline from Blushed Biscuits. The two different cactus themed donuts were a first for Taz Cake Couture. If you ask me, she knocked them out of the park! Also, piñata dreams came to life with the gorgeously colourful llama pinata. It was so lovely, I didn’t want the kids to break it apart! Plus, Meri Meri was my first choice for all of the super cute partyware. Finally, Judith Williams, my forever “go-to” photographer, captured every detail!”
