Toy Story 1st Birthday Party

“’You’ve got a friend in me. You got troubles and I got ’em, too’. Disney themes are still an all-time favorite, especially Toy Story since there are so many party details to include.

Decor:

For decor, this party featured a cloud backdrop as well as barrels, flag bunting, and a balloon garland with hanging Army men. The Army men were one of my favorite features. At the entry gate we set up Aliens, as well as a ruler and pencil. We also had Toy story 3D characters, including Woody, Jessie, Buzz, Slinky Dog, Rex, Mr. and Mrs. Potato head, and Forky. Another decor feature that I liked was the assorted colored bandanas we used as chair covers.

Food:

In the sweet corner, we used recyclable “moving” boxes as the display trays. The boxes had “Donate”, “Michael’s toys”, “Attic”, and “Sunny Side” written on them. The desserts included Toy Story themed cupcakes, Slinky Dog chocolate favor tubes, and ice cream. We also made a replica of the Pizza Planet arcade game to display some treats, and even included Woody stuck inside. Of course, there was also the stunning Toy Story themed tiered cake.

There was also the Slinky Dog hotdog stall serving party food for the guests.

Activities:

There were several party activities. One was a cow-printed cowboy vest decorating station. The other was making DIY headbands. The guests could choose between a headband of Jessie’s red hair in a braid topped with a red hat or an Alien headband.”
