“THE THEME FOR THIS BABY SHOWER WAS “BOY MEETS WORLD.” THE IDEA BEHIND IT WAS TO SHOWCASE DIFFERENT LAYERS OF THE WORLD. ABOVE, WE DID A CLOUD/MOON/STAR INSTALLATION WITH BALLOONS. THE NEXT LAYER DOWN SHOWCASED 150 PAPER AIRPLANES STRUNG AND COLOR BLOCKED WITH 7 DIFFERENT SHADES OF BLUE. LASTLY, THE TABLE CONSISTED OF FLORALS WHICH RESEMBLED FLOWER FEILDS. THIS WAS TO OBTAIN THE IDEA OF THE PLANES SOARING OVER BEAUTIFUL FEILDS OF FLORALS.

ON THE TABLE, EACH PLATE HAD AN ACRYLIC CUT OUT OF A PAGE FROM THE BOOK, ‘WHEN THE WORLD WAS WAITING FOR YOU’ BY GILLIAN SHIELDS. THIS WAS OUR TAKE ON A BABY SHOWER GAME. EACH PLATE HAD A SINGLE PAGE WITH ITS PAGE NUMBER WHICH ALLOWED EVERYONE TO GO AROUND THE TABLE, READ THEIR SEGMENT AND TELL A STORY.”
