“Ohhh I Wana Dance With Somebunny” 80’s Pop Star Easter Party Details:
Inspiration-
“Over here we like totally love a good Easter celebration. This party was created around one of our favorite 80’s songs by Whitney Huston with a little spin: ‘Ohhhh I wanna dance with some bunny.’ We started with an 80’s color pallet, and added an awesome macaron cake, some leg warmers and a few Caboodles. This party was radical! We danced, we ate and we practiced the running man in the cutest attire by Shop Sweet Wink and Scottie and Company.
Tablescape & Decor-
The table top was bright and fun. So bright that we decided to add some custom heart sunnies by Keep It Sunny & Co. The florals by Lemon Tree Florals were perfect and playful. From daisies and carnations to sprayed palms, the centerpiece did not disappoint. Berry crates served as baskets for gummies, cookies and eggs while Caboodles were filled with some of our favorite Easter finds.
We are in love with the ‘You do you’ bath bombs and bars by Feeling Smitten. And they paired well with our far out daisy sponges. Finally, Piggy Polish, cute bunny necklaces by Jersie Louise Handmade, bunny ears by Indie Jane Co, lip smackers, unicorn snot glitter and malt balls also filled our Caboodles.
Food & Desserts-
A large bunny grazing board had the kids hopping for joy. Plus, Peep sourdough breads by Sour Dough By Schi were the perfect addition. The bunny with the glasses was our all time favorite. Think John Cusack with a boom box… Amazing. A far out soiree can’t come without dessert and these sweets were totally saaaweet. Soiree Macarons made a macaron cake topped with metallic sprinkles and bunny macaroons. A green straw Easter basket by Biddle and Bop was filled with the cutest cookies by Camellias Whisper Cakery. The details on these cookies were beyond.
In the end, these little CHICKS RULED and they hippity-hopped right though the celebration. We loved how this turned out and we hope you find it totally eggtastic as well!” – Roxanne | Keep it Colorful
