Glam Tropical Backyard Pool Party Details:
“Savanna turned three under the palm trees, surrounded by function and natural beauty. The tropical scene was set in Fort Myers, Florida at venue Viva La Casa. I was the event coordinator and am also the owner of Bubbly & Company. My business specializes in large scale balloon Installations.
Party Inspiration-
We wanted to bring in local vendors for this event that get their inspiration from the natural beauty that the Southwest Florida landscape has to offer. I chose the venue for its lush tropical landscape full of native plants and a natural pool.
Setup & Decor-
We set up a luxury picnic and sunshade tent for 12 little ones to enjoy their cake. Delicate white paper umbrellas were twirled by the hands of the little guests. Plus, the florist installed an arrangement down the center of the tablescape full of greenery and pops of color.
As they entered, the guests’ eyes danced over a balloon installation that towered above the gift wall. The install was accented with balloons that looked like the center of a dragon fruit in juicy custom colors such as chartreuse, teal and coral.
Plus, we had custom wooden signage made to display the theme, tropiVANNA. This wooden accent with blackened edges kept a natural beach feel against the contrast of the bright wall.
Cake & Favors-
A hand woven life size green parrot looked as though it had just landed atop her lemon zest cake with raspberry filling and cream cheese frosting!
Party favors such as white bamboo hand fans adorned the horizontal custom gift wall. Of course, they were set at the proper height for a three year old and her friends to grab.
There was also a clothing rack displaying hula skirts for the children to take from as they pleased. To no one’s surprise, the hangers were empty by the end of the party. Of course, everyone loves an excuse to dress up and dance!” – Destiny | Bubbly & Company
