Seashell Birthday Party Details:

“Like most moms, I had a ~vision~ when planning this seashell birthday. My daughter loves the beach and I knew I wanted to incorporate it as much as I could, but we live in Dallas, Texas, nowhere near the beach. So we did the next best thing and brought the beach to us! Everything from the custom invites to shell-shaped party favors, I made sure the “beach” theme was a part of every decision.

Like any true underwater event, we had bubbles and lots of them.

Sweets & Treats:

Desserts included handmade rice krispies adorned with chocolate mermaid tails and seashells, a cotton candy cart, a custom brush-stroked buttercream cake, and sugar cookies with starfish, jellyfish and more mermaid tails.

Decor:

A 7-foot wooden seashell was the focal point of the party surrounded by balloons in mauve, lilac and light sand by Wow Balloons. The curved arcs and treat walls were handmade and painted by yours truly and the marquis lighting was added with the help of Alpha Lit Dallas.

Fun & Favors:

Kids were greeted with a bounce house adorned with a balloon garland and a fun decal to “Shellabrate” the joyous occasion.

We worked with Creative Amme for signage and stir sticks and created a beautiful shell-shaped cake topper accented with a dangling lavender starfish and stir sticks to match.

As guests departed, they received a collapsible crate that included some fun, whimsical seashell sunglasses, stickers, and a shell-shaped water bottle. Sugarfina boxes accented the treat wall with custom stickers.” – Francel | Franny Loves Lace
