Party Details:

“Galentine’s day is one of my favorite days of the year, and being a Mama of three little girls, throwing a party in honor of the day seemed like a no brainer! Choosing a main activity for the party came easy to me as I’m @frostedfujicakes – all the girls would decorate mini cakes! For my parties I always like to start with the flowers. Once I find a photo of a floral arrangement that really stands out to me, I base all the other aspects of the party off the colors in the floral arrangement. This time around that meant we were going bold with all the reds & pinks. Following that, I put together a mood board and got to work. I reached out to @emeraldgracedesigns for all my floral needs, @capableballoons for the balloons & backdrop, and @ivoryrosecreative for the signage. My dream team right there! Being a cake designer myself, the rest came fairly easy to me as far as what the girls would need to make the mini cakes of their dreams. Sprinkles, candies, cherries, all the frosting…you name it, it was there! Also, pro tip – the Target dollar spot always comes out with mini cakes stands around this time of year, which is so fitting! I may of had to go to five different Targets to collect the 15 stands that I needed, but the end result was totally worth it! Details are my jam…the heart shaped lollipop table runner, the pink heart shaped candy filled bowls, the heart shaped straws in the strawberry milk, the stenciled kiss cupcakes, the heart shaped macarons…everything was thoroughly thought through to truly make this day the sweetest and girliest one. The girls had a blast creating their own edible works of art, and all the moms loved watching their personalities come out through their creations.
