First Down LSU Football Themed 1st Birthday Party

Party Details:

“When it came time to decide on our little ones first birthday, It was almost a no brainer. Both sides of our families are die hard LSU fans, so much so that our little Beaux’s (who name is actually spelled after the teams slogan-“Geaux” tigers) first birthday theme would not only be football, but LSU tigers football, Geaux Tigas ya’ll!  Every party starts with a good theme, but up next comes choosing colors. Keeping this party classic and simple, we opted for a black and white vintage football feel with hints of purple and gold for our chosen states football team-LSU tigers. With this Louisiana football inspired first birthday, we of course had to use some of our favorite football team lingo on the invitation, ‘calling Baton Rouge’ for example. I inspire you to do the same with your team. Have fun with it! Some of my favorite details from the party had to be the football shaped smash cake, football cookies, football shaped charcuterie board on the old football game board, the football filled with flowers and of course the LSU colored gatorades placed in the vintage enamel wash tub.  TAKEAWAYS FROM THIS PARTY -Football vase with flowers -purple and ‘Gold’ gatorades, placed in a vintage enamel wash tub in place of a cooler. -Game day plans written on balloons, napkins, and table runners.
