X’s & O’s Vintage Love Party Details:This is what Katrina said about planning the party-
“Our last daughter was born on Valentines Day in 2014. I figured that I had to do a Valentines themed birthday party at least once, so why not get it out of the way the first year. I’m not much for bright red and white though (or hundred of hearts hanging all over), so I went with what I saw as the perfect, vintage looking valentines party: soft pinks and peaches with little hits of grey and aqua, and lots of brown craft paper. A few rustic flower holders filled with yellow and orange roses, and a lot hanging puffs, and my house felt completely transformed even though it was really just one room.
I loved putting this together for her, partly because at one she didn’t have much say, and was just thrilled to see everything done up (especially the ceiling of puffs, which we still haven’t taken down because she smiles every time she walks in the kitchen).
