Modern Neverland Party Details:
This is what Laila said about designing/styling the party- “When Chantelle contacted me to plan and style her son’s first birthday and told me she wanted a modern neverland party, I got immediately excited. Peter Pan is one of my favorite movies and having this great opportunity to bring it to life, was just awesome. It all started with the idea of never grow up – phrase coined by the movie and one that everyone has come to know and love. Chantelle loves anything modern and minimalistic so I decided to base our palette on white and black. The black and white looked chic but it needed some color… Greens, aqua and a touch of red was added to give our party some life.
Together with Johanna from bambini soiree we pieced the celebration together. The house had a nook that seemed perfectly fitting for our lost boys hideout. I knew I wanted to create that space but Johanna took it to another level when she suggested we put our sweets table inside there too. We draped the whole area and with the help of the gardener, trimmed some of the greens from the house to create that super cool wild green runner.
For the adults, we wanted a space that was airy and comfortable. Custom made lounges by bambini soiree with the custom tent and pillows, were the perfect touch. Centerpieces by Petit Cotillons and Isaac Farms finished off the area. The shipwrecks worked great as a bar!!! This event was perfection.. From the entrance to tent to the kids area – everything was simply exactly what it needed to be. Happy first birthday D’Angelo! Cheers to many more!”
