This is what Alexandria said about planning/styling the party- “My brother was turning the “big 16” and he said that he wanted me to do something for his birthday. Since his birthday is close to superbowl and he loves football, I decided to style a football themed dessert table for his birthday/superbowl. I knew that I wanted to do a dark green/brown color scheme with hints of black and lighter shades of green. First I designed the invitation to resemble a game ticket. I love how it turned out! I then contacted two of my favorite vendors to create some treats for me! Autumn from “Sparkling Sweets Boutique” made me football shaped cake pops and football shaped oreos! They were so amazing and they tasted even better than they looked! Unfortunately our weather was cold so the combination of going from hot to cold cracked the chocolate on the cake pops. The birthday boy and guests still loved them though and they were so delicious! Katherine from “Creating Awesomenessity” always does my cookies for me.. and you can tell why! She does such a detailed and dedicated job every time! She always knows what I’m going for even if my concepts are vague! The party was a huge hit and everyone had a great time!”
