This CLOWN SCHOOL 9th BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Jane Saxton of Home Made Parties is so original and fun! What a cute twist on the classic circus / carnival theme. I just love it.
Here is what Jane had to say about her party- Fourteen children attended Clown School in honour of my daughter’s 9th birthday. They all received matching book bags (concept for book bags based on back to school party by Just Call me Martha) complete with their own magic tricks/joke cards to be performed in a clown performance later. The children also decorated their own colour-coordinated clown hats, got into clown costumes, designed how they wanted their clown faces painted (then had them painted according to their designs), learned balloon modeling, and had magic trick lessons. At the end of the day, the new clowns gave a performance. Lunch and an afternoon tea break were included before being presented with a red clown nose on graduation. Apparently one of the little girls went home and asked her parents if she could come to clown school every Saturday!
