As a toast to some of the last Michaels Makers posts of the season, I created gifts, baked treats and threw parties for each of the six holidays this summer. This post showcases the “CELEBRATE AMERICA” SUMMER TREAT STAND I styled for Michaels!
Michaels is celebrating every occasion this summer with gifts for Moms, Dads and teachers, along with parties to celebrate birthdays, graduation, and the 4th of July!
So without further adieu, here is my ‘CELEBRATE AMERICA’ 4th of July summer treat stand!

I love the way my American flag fruit + shortcake tray turned out.
I wanted the summer treat stand to look vintage / old fashioned, so I purchased some crates from Michaels and stained them dark brown to create an aged look, then stacked them and used them to display all the americana themed desserts and treats.
Cute cupcake ice cream cones were created with waffle cones, striped red and blue cupcake liners, vanilla cupcakes, and red gum balls.
