Backyard Vintage Girl’s Night Soirée Party Details:
This is what Andrea said about styling the party- “Vintage stoneware is one of my favorites so we wanted to create an intimate atmosphere surrounding them for a girls night. The beauty of San Diego is we can have a party outside year around as long as we provide a wool blanket or two! CC Vintage Rentals, Fruit From Her Hands and I wanted to have a night with friends and frienders to thank them for enriching our lives.
The first challenge was to take an expansive backyard and make it feel homey. We decided to take the 70s stoneware inspiration and create a tent over the table with vintage lace tablecloths. We used a beautiful wood table from CC Vintage Rentals combined with gorgeous mustard yellow chairs to add to the boho look. CC Vintage also put together a lounge area styled with lanterns, candlesticks and oil lamps along with a bar area to make it even more cozy. We decided to diy the flowers and use a lot of greenery and rich oranges and reds to complement and not compete with the stoneware.
Fruit From Her Hands created wood place mats with caligraphied menus for each setting, as well as an amazing hand lettered bar menu that looked incredible hanging on the rustic stone chimney! We selected some of my favorite stoneware patterns and paired them with brass and wood flatware and silver Kings Crown glasses. Further, we enhanced the table with brass and wood accents. In addition, we provided vintage crystal decanters and pressed glassware for the bar. To finish off the look we asked SociaLights to string Edison bulbs around the area and in the tent so we could dine by soft lighting and candlelight. We also have Sierra Solis Photography to thank for capturing this wonderful set up and evening!”
