I’m excited to finally share the SHARK THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY I styled this past summer for my boys! Hopefully this party will help inspire and give ideas to anyone who is planning a shark party of their own!
I decided to plan a joint birthday party since both my boys celebrate their birthday in the same month….and it was twice the fun! I went with a grey, turquoise, orange, yellow, and navy blue color scheme and loved how the colors looked together! All in all it was a JAWESOME party!
Some of my favorite elements from this jawesome shark themed birthday celebration are:
- Ombre painted table
- Yellow striped party backdrop
- Super fun dunk tank
- The grey, turquoise, orange, yellow and blue candy
- Amazing shark sugar cookies
- Beach-inspired ombre cake
- Candy shark tooth necklaces
- Jumbo shark bounce house

Saltwater popcorn was made with regular popcorn and blue candy melts (drizzled all over the popcorn).
Dainty Delights did an amazing job with the cake! It looked awesome and was delicious, too!
Mozzarella cheese cut into triangles made the perfect shark tooth molars!
The dunk tank was the highlight of the whole party and entertained the kids non-stop.
I used a shark print flat sheet from Pottery Barn Kids, along with a giant hanging shark (also from Pottery Barn Kids) for the favor table backdrop.
‘Caution Shark Zone’ balloons from Amazon.
The kids loved the shark drinking glasses!
Snow Cones for all :).
I made the blue shark lollipops with this shark lollipop mold and blue candy melts.
The kids painted ceramic shark banks for the party activity.
I made shark infested jello bags with blue raspberry jello and shark gummy candies. I poured the jello mix into cello bags before it set, then added the shark gummy candies. I then taped the top of the bags to the edge of a shelf in my fridge, so the bags were hanging and the jello set right.
The shark tooth necklace party favors were a massive hit!
