Back to School Party Details:

This is what Rachel shared about the party- “I have to admit that when I see all those back to school breakfast bars, I get a little jealous. As a party gal it should be something right up my ally, but mornings (especially the morning of the first day of school!) are too chaotic. So instead, we celebrated with an afternoon Back to School snack session. It was also a great way to sit with them and their friends and hear about their day. I find that kids talk a little more when your bribe them with sweets ;)

With the theme “Let’s get ready for a COLORFUL year” it was easy to create a bright and colorful display using items we were already purchasing like crayons and other art supplies. I tried to have a good mix of healthy treats like yogurt parfaits and apples with a few sweet ones as well. Because when your theme is to have a colorful year, rainbow lollipops are a must, right?!
