This is what La Toya shared about the party- “Jermaine and Satura Russell celebrated the arrival of their baby girl by hosting a modern-chic tea party baby shower in Chicago. Jermaine, a member of MC Lyte’s music group and DJ for her recent marriage, and his wife stated that their baby girl would be her last child, hence the perfect hashtag for the celebration – #thefinale. This mom of 3 boys wanted the shower to exude all things girly without being overwhelmed with the color pink and tutus.

The modern-chic tea party was decorated with a variety of tea cups and teapots adorned with a beautiful assortment of coral, yellow and white roses with greenery aligning the tables to provide the garden feel. Guests enjoyed mini pinwheel sandwiches, crust-less cucumber sandwiches, a fruit and cheese display along with a hot tea bar. As favors, guests received floral decorated disposable tea cups with a chocolate dipped tea cookie. Satura’s co-workers, who adore her youngest son and named their selves the “Kult of Kyle”, were provided buttons to wear during the celebration”.
