Modern Country Wedding

This is what Sophia shared about the party- “This beautiful love story started when Jessica and Angus studied the same agriculture degree. They were both off farms from the Eyre Peninsula, but had never crossed paths before studying together in University.

The couple really wanted a ‘weddingy wedding’ with a bit of rustic thrown in, so their theme ended up being ‘white, greenery and wood’. The theme tied together beautifully throughout the ceremony and reception.

Jessica knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding gown – the dress she always dreamt of. She went dress shopping and found that perfect dream dress in the very first store and the very first dress she tried on there! To be safe, she went to other stores, but ended up going back to that first dress that made her feel like a princess.

The wedding also features some incredible DIY elements. They resurrected their family’s old wooden farm sign that was created by Jessica’s late pop and turned it into their welcome sign. Her mother made the cake and created the dessert bar, while her dad helped by cutting wooden rounds, making fancy and rustic stands for the sweets and wedding cake.”
