This is what Monica shared about styling the event:

“1st impressions count as do 1st birthdays right?! This camp inspired birthday party was the perfect example of how to celebrate a birthday camping style. We decided to bring the outdoors inside. The décor was filled with various shades of green and brown showcasing a earth-toned inspired décor which also included wooden accessories. The day was filled with make your own s’mores, kid friendly trail mix, and tent set ups all around.

Since the parents trusted us with their children it was important to make the day an interactive experience. A scavenger hunt and camp-themed bingo was a great way to make the kids feel apart of the party. We were able to even include the birthday’s boy’s brother into the event as they shared matching T-shirts.

A camping theme is great theme to consider for a kids birthday party as it’s fun, creative and a great way to bring family together.”
