Rustic Holiday Santa Soiree
It is never too early to begin planning your holiday parties, right? I can see this as a perfect set-up to go with the rustic plaid cabin Christmas tree I have on my porch. What a great Christmas soiree–the details are so dreamy!

Rustic Holiday Santa Soiree Details:
This is what was said about planning the party- “The holidays are the perfect time of year to slow down, celebrate and enjoy the simple things in life; like good food and good company. And what’s a party without a cause? This is the annual Santa Soiree Holiday Party where all proceeds went to the Hospice Toronto Charity- you can see why this was extra special for us. And we definitely love a good holiday soiree! Guests were asked to either donate $50 to the charity or bring a toy to the event (at the same value). We raised over $10,000 and sent hundreds of toys to happy children!
We married the terms rustic and glam and brought it to life. A cookie bar (for Santa, of course), reindeer ears, and spiked egg nog – all amazing ways to celebrate the holidays and this worthy cause! Festive stationary, and our “Christmas Candyland” was full of holly cake pops, a meringue tree tower, salted caramel and chai cinnamon marshamallows, vanilla cinnamon and gingerbread macarons,. Wilbur Mexicana provided all the delicious food, including their delicious burritos, quesadillas and of course, tacos (the Carne Asada is to die for)…
Who could have believed that huge letter balloons would have become such a huge trend for parties and events? It was a no-brainer we had to get Santa involved, so we spelt out “HO HO HO” – behind the restaurants amazing light fixture (made of beaker lights!) – where we hung ornaments in festive colors.
Guests got to “wear a pair” a pair of reindeer ears, obviously adorned with bells, and on the opposite bar, we hung pine cones that hung over the “Dress your Drink” station. Faux snow, birch slabs, Santa’s mail sack, and even sleighs all made their way to this fantastic event.”
